Today I would like to share with you all the skateboard tricks that I have compiled during my learning practice.

I hope that you can use this skateboard tricks list as a reference for your development. These tricks are very cool to perform and have a mixed difficulty depending on your skills.

In my opinion, the flip tricks are the coolest among everything in my skateboard tricks list.
Imagine you are flying in mid-air while your skateboard is flipping multiple times.

Is he/she going to land it smoothly? There might be failures and injuries? It goes on and on…

Everyone around you is too afraid to do these tricks, while you are the only one can accomplish.

That is the impressive feeling you could ever wish for.

These tricks require lots of practice and your trials with errors. You might not get them right away, as long as you keep moving forward, I believe you will eventually do them all.

Using your upper body strength to flip the tail to switch place with nose while you make a 180-degree turn. More complex when you use your heel! Alpha Flip

Flipping your skateboard mid-air while at the same time turning your backside 180 degrees
Bigspin

Halfcab

Spinning your skateboard mid-air while at the same time turning your side 180 degrees. More complex when you use your heel! Anti Casper Flip Flipping your skateboard nose upward, then also turn it counter-clockwise so the tail switch position with the nose and you land safely on the deck
No Comply Stepping off your front foot and let your back foot to turn the skateboard 180 degrees Big Heelflip

Big Flip

Flipping your skateboard to deck turn 360 while at the same time turning your side 180 degrees
Ollie North

Ollie South

Kick, pop your back foot and jump mid-air along with your skateboard without spinning or flipping it Bubble flip

Feather Flip

Flipping your skateboard upside down half-way then immediately use your back feet to kick the deck 180 degrees and flip it back up again
Kickflip

Kick, pop your back foot and jump mid-air along with your skateboard while it is flipping Caballerial Flip Flipping and/or spinning your skateboard to deck turn 360 while at the same time turning your backside 360 degrees
Kickback Flip Flipping your skateboard upside down half-way then immediately use your back feet to kick the deck to flip it back up again in mid-air Casper Flip

540 Flip

Hospital Flip

Inward Heelflip

Flipping your skateboard so that it both rotates and flip 180 degrees at the same time, while you land normally
Shuvit – Shove It

Pop Shuvit

Kick to spin your deck 180 degrees with your back foot, lighten your front foot to let the deck spin. Daydream Flip – Varial Double Heelflip

Nightmare Flip – Varial Double Kickflip

Flipping your skateboard nose upward, the deck will both spin and flip 360 degrees 2 times then you land normally
360 Shuvit – Shove It

Plasma Spin

Kick to spin your deck 360 degrees with your back foot, lighten your front foot to let the deck spin. Frontside flip

Frontside heelflip

Flipping your skateboard so that it both rotates and flip 180 degrees at the same time while you also land 180 degrees
Ghetto Bird A hardflip of your skateboard combines with turning your backside 180 degrees 360 flip

Laser Flip

Flipping your skateboard so that it both rotates and flip 360 degrees at the same time, while you land normally
Hardflip You combine a kickflip with a shuvit so your skateboard flip 360 degree Gazelle Flip

Gazelle Spin

Flipping and/or spinning your skateboard to deck turn 540 degrees while at the same time turning your backside 360 degrees

With grind and slide tricks, you just step in a higher level of skateboarding. These tricks require great balance and controls on a rail, stairs, edges, or curbs.

Make sure you have mastered all of the basics tricks and flips first before attempting any grind and slide tricks.

Boardslide Pop your skateboard, get on a rail and slide with the center of your skateboard while maintaining balance till safe landing 5-0 Grind An advance 50-50 grind variations. Pop your skateboard, get on a rail, and grind your skateboard’s truck on the rail. Keep your pressure and weight on the back foot to let only the tail’s truck slides on the edge.
Crail Slide Roll upward a ramp, turn 90 degrees and slide with your tail on the top edge of the ramp, then transition to rolling down the ramp normally Hurricane

Salad Grind

Roll upward a ramp, lock-in your truck and slide on the top edge with the tail, keeping your back foot firm and steady. Your front foot will manage the balance as long as you can.
Crooked Grind

Noseblunt Slide

Noseslide  

Pop your skateboard nose upward and grind/slide it on the edge of a rail, curb, flat surface. Transition most of your weight to your front foot Layback Grind Roll upward a ramp, slide on the top edge with the tail. Then put more pressure on the tail to stall the slide while lean down and grab your hand on the top edge. Looks like your surfing the top ramp
50-50 Grind

Feeble Grind

Pop your skateboard, get on a rail, and grind your skateboard’s truck on the rail and land normally at the end Tailblock Grind Roll upward a ramp, turn 45 degrees to have the tip of your tail balance on the edge while holding the nose with your hand
Smith Grind Pop your skateboard, lock-in your truck on the backside, and keeping your back foot firm and steady Front side 270 Pop your skateboard, get on a rail, and grind your skateboard’s tail, then transition your weight back to the front foot to pivot 270 degrees with the nose and land normally

These tricks look similar to flip tricks, without the flipping of course. You can do these tricks with obstacles, ramp, trail, edges, and curbs.

Roll upward/downward a ramp several times to earn momentum, then turn the necessary degrees with your whole body mid-air and land back safely

Airwalk Roll upward a ramp, pop your skateboard on the tail so you can grab it mid-air and land back safely Body Jar

Roll upward a ramp or, turn 180 degrees and also grab your skateboard nose while suspending on top of the ramp’s edge
Cannonball Rolling off a steep stair, gap or ramp, lean down and grab both the nose and tail with your both hands. Mix it with a 180-degree turn along with the skateboard. Land heavily like a cannonball drop Crossbone Roll up to a pyramid or an incline obstacle, pop your skateboard nose upward, turn your skateboard around 45 degrees, then grab it and turn it back the original position
Frontside Air

Tuck Knee

Stalefish Grab

Roll upward a ramp, grab the middle of your skateboard and bring it near to your knees. Then turn 180 degrees and land normally Madonna Roll upward a ramp, lean back and stretch your back foot out while your front foot applies slight pressure so you can grab the tail in mid-air. Turn 180 degrees, let go your hand and put your back foot to land safely
Roast beef Grab

360 Boneless

Similar doing an ollie, but you grab your skateboard mid-air and combine with other complex moves Superman Grab Roll upward a ramp, pop your skateboard on the tail hard so it moves upward. You then grab with both hands and your whole body stretch out like Superman flying. Immediately put your skateboard back to your feet position to land safely
Rocket Air Roll upward a ramp or, turn 180 degrees and also grab your skateboard nose while suspending mid-air and land safely

The last of my skateboard tricks list involves creative tricks while you skate on-ramp. They are impressive to look at and also challenging to push your limit.

Texas Plant

Roll upward a ramp, lean back and stretch your back foot out to plant firmly on the top edge. Your hand grab the deck, turn 180 degrees and put your foot back to land safely. Egg Plant

Layback Air

Roll upward a ramp, turn inverted, have your hand grab and plant firmly. While your feet and skateboard push upward the sky. Turn 180 degrees to reverse and land safely
Nose Stall

Tail Stall

Roll upward a ramp, transition your weight a bit to the front/back foot so you can stall the nose/tail on the top edge. Then turn 180 degrees and drop down normally Nose Pick Roll upward a ramp, turn 180 degrees and immediately stall the nose on the top edge of the ramp. Grab your hand on the center to balance and drop back in normally.
Staple Gun Roll upward a ramp, allow the skateboard to fully go up on the flat edge while your back leg supports the stall. Then drop back in by pulling back your skateboard and land your back feet on it. Rock and Roll Roll upward a ramp, balance yourself and let the skateboard center slide along the top edge, turn 180 degrees and drop back in safely
