Prior to tip off of tonight’s game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers, Hornets owner Michael Jordan reflected on his relationship with Kobe Bryant in a video tribute to the retiring Laker. In the two minute video, Jordan spoke fondly of Bryant and reflected on their time together on the court and Kobe’s contributions to the game.
This stop on the Kobe Bryant farewell tour marks the last time the Laker Legend will step foot on the court in Charlotte this season before leaving the game behind at season’s end. Too bad MJ couldn’t lace them up just one last time so we could have one final Michael Jordan vs. Kobe Bryant head to head battle for old time’s sake. This is the point where we thank our lucky stars YouTube was invented.
