A new commercial for Derrick Rose’s new sneaker the #DRose5 #BOOST has surfaced on YouTube overnight and it’s bonkers.
The commercial starts off with shots of Rose in his Bulls gear and donning his new kicks. The adidas spokesman is then featured moving at break neck speed and dribbling the basketball emphatically. Nearing the midway mark of the video, the camera pans to the BOOST technology featuring shoes, then the Bulls guard takes flight. The video slows down as the Bulls point guard pulls off a through the legs, one handed dunk and then slams the ball through the rim before landing on a billowy ground of TPU (thermo-plastic plyurethane) beads which make up the BOOST cushioning in the sneakers.
I actually had a chance to try out Damian Lillard’s Crazy Light Boost last month and they are an amazing shoe to hoop in. I can’t wait to try a pair of the D Rose 5′s on. The Rose 5 drops on October 23.
